NEXA 6

Guardian NEXA 6 lower carbon glass has an embodied carbon value of 6.38 kg CO2e/m2 for a 4 mm glass thickness. This represents a reduction of approximately 36%* when compared to the average European standard float glass, and more than 30% when compared to standard 4mm Guardian ExtraClear™ float glass. Guardian NEXA 6 can be laminated and/or used as a base glass for all Guardian Glass range of products – such as the Guardian SunGuard™, Guardian Bird1st™ Lami or Guardian ClimaGuard™ – to add features such as energy efficiency, bird deterrence, or sound reduction when laminated. Guardian NEXA 6 is visually equivalent to Guardian float ExtraClear, as the optical and technical properties of the two products, as well as aesthetics, are similar, and within the production tolerances for the products.
